I was so caught up in my contest prep for the Masters Nationals I didn't take the time to share my excitement about the NPC USA in Vegas! Most everyone knows now but....just in case you
do NOT know, my home girls kicked ass in Vegas. Carrie Ledford -Baldwin and Sherry Smith, both firefighters in Oklahoma City, won their classes, Light Heavy and Heavy, last weekend.
It was SOOOOOOOO exciting! Carrie went on to win the Overall AND her IFBB pro card!!! When it was all said and done, Carrie beat Sherry out for the overall by ONE POINT!
It could've very easily gone either way. Bethany Terrell, also from Oklahoma City, won her class in Fitness AND the Overall!!!!! Basically, Oklahoma kicked ASS! I was so proud of all
three of them!
I had a great time in Vegas, it was crazy busy with the show, shoots, and training with my show just a week away. I got a lot of fun pics at the show that I'll be getting up in the Free
Area, and lots and lots of good stuff for the members area! I always look really good with it is sunny and hot, my veins just pop out all over the place, can't wait to get my new stuff up!!!!
Now, back to training hard and heavy, trying to gain some more muscle, bring up my lagging body parts! Can't wait to go the gym tomorrow!!!!!
